To better understand where the power of each comes from, we have to take a trip under the hood. For the Toyota RAV4, you're fueled forward with a 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine that churns out 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

With the Lexus NX, you'll have more options and a bit more force as well. Depending on the trim level you choose, you'll have either a turbo 2.0L 4-cylinder engine or a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. In the latter, you'll have up to 194 horsepower. For added power, however, you'll have to turn to the former, which achieves up to 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.

Providing the smoothest drive possible, both SUVs also come standard with several selectable drive modes. With ECO, normal, and sport modes in each, these SUVs are fit to adjust to the type of ride each adventure calls for.
