Here, we make it our mission to assist with whatever you need-and in this case, it's walking through a Lexus ES 350 maintenance schedule. Read on to learn more about what to expect from our unique, helpful service plans.

5,000-Mile Mark

At 5,000 miles, or approximately every six months, your vehicle should be inspected fairly thoroughly. This is because these necessary repairs tend to pop up at these intervals, especially if you're a frequent driver.

As a result, you should be prepared to do the following: program Lexus Personalized Settings if requested; take a road test; rotate tires; adjust all fluid levels; inspect wiper blades, brake pads, calipers, and rotors; check driver's floor mat; and finally, reset that Scheduled Maintenance Reminder so you know when next to come in.

10,000-Mile Mark

At this juncture, which should fall around 10,000 miles/12 months, you should anticipate the need to replace your engine oil and oil filter (again-once every six months, remember?), check your oil maintenance reminder and reset it, and lastly, replace your cabin air filter.

Remember that these circumstances may vary based on the experiences your car has, so if you drive more or less, just talk to our team about what you should be looking for.

15,000-Mile Mark

So, you've reached 15,000 miles, or as we like to call it, the 18-month interval. At this point in your maintenance schedule, the following should be inspected: your axle shaft boots, body/chassis, rack-and-pinion assembly, ball joints and dust covers, as well as…

  • Brake lines and hoses
  • Engine coolant
  • Steering linkage and boots
  • Exhaust pipes and mountings
  • Replace Smart Key battery

30,000-Mile Mark

At 36 months/30,000 miles, you should be having the following items inspected or replaced:

  • Brake rotor thickness and runout
  • Transmission, cooler hoses, and connections for leakage
  • Fuel lines/connections, fuel tank band, fuel tank vapor vent system hoses, and fuel tank cap gasket
  • Brake fluid
  • Engine air filter

60,000-Mile Mark

…Or every 72 months, around the sixth-year interval, these are updates that should be noted. It's always a good idea to inspect your drive belts, especially considering this should be done around every 18th month, but you should also replace your spark plugs here.

Other Updates to Be Aware of

What's that, you ask? There's more? That's right! If you really want to be prepared for everything a Lexus ES 350 maintenance schedule can throw at you, it's good to keep the following factors in mind: There are extra capabilities on our powerful luxury cars. These include drive modes, for example, that help you navigate difficult terrain, and so on; so, if they're being utilized, there are other systems that should be inspected fairly regularly (every 5,000 miles or so).

You should inspect axle shaft boots, steering linkage and boots, torque nuts and bolts on the chassis and body, ball joints and dust covers, as well as the engine air filter.
